Our Technical Sales Team focuses on Pre-Sales architectures and reviews the configuration. You can be part of the highest concentration of Pre-Sales talents in the storage industry. Our team transforms NetApp technology into customer success through innovation, passion and hard work.

Your Role

As a the Sr. Systems Engineer you will utilize your strong technical competencies and customer service orientation to provide the highest level of technical consultation to sales teams to support sales goals.



Your responsibilities will include:
Attending customer calls with the Sales Representative.
Developing and owning all aspects of technical customer and/or partner relationships
Identify customer needs and requirements.
Answer customer questions, generate NetApp excitement with customers and partners.
Manage and participate in customer evaluations and proof of concepts for deploying test systems.
Work with sales and partners to respond to RFP’s.
Provide technical consultation and disseminate product information to the sales team.
Perform consultative selling of optimum support and system solutions.
Conducting speaking opportunities for (large) external audiences.

Desired Skills and Experience

A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering; or related field is required; a Graduate Degree is preferred.
Experience which demonstrates a significant level of expertise in technical specifications required to sell NetApp products and services is required.
Specialized knowledge in breadth and/or depth.
Prior experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Escalations Engineer, Technical Account Manager, and/or a Project Manager is desired.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Norwegian and English.
Account management and project management experience.
Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills are needed in order work successfully with prospects, customers, and cross functional teams to meet performance goals.
Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer facing environment
